​Shirfield's work has been considered by many as spiritual and poignant. Being a visual artist mainly interested in painting, drawing and printing, he seeks to investigate varied issues that afflict humanity and its existence. His works can be found in local and international collections and he has participated in several joint exhibitions. Recently his works have also been published.
